Our clientele comprises a wide range of esteemed business entities and private clients, including multinational corporations, listed companies, banks, financial institutions, developers, contractors, insurers and reinsurers, government organizations, and non-governmental organizations.
We aim to support clients with intellectual agility, business savviness, and a human touch. We constantly strive to deliver professional legal services as an active listener and communicator to all our clients.
Our legal fees are principally based on the amount of our professional time spent on the matter although other factors may also be taken into account. Such factors may include the size and complexity of the matter and the degree of urgency involved. Our hourly rates are primarily based on the seniority and experience of the professional staff involved.
We normally require a retainer letter to be signed by our client before providing legal services.
Our retainer letter contains the scope of services, charges, engagement of Counsel (if applicable), costs on account, billing mechanism, client responsibilities, communication methods, conflict of interest matters, record-keeping, and termination procedures.
It is our policy to request costs on account from clients to cover a portion of our fees, as well as anticipated disbursements that may be incurred on the client’s behalf.
Our client is responsible for the expenses incurred by us on his behalf such as Counsel’s fees, court fees, costs of any experts or other agents (including any foreign lawyers). We shall send our client invoices for fees and disbursements at regular and appropriate intervals as we deem fit and on an interim basis.
You are welcomed to schedule an initial consultation with us by calling or sending an email to our professional staff. Generally, we offer a free initial consultation to our clients.
We recommend you to discuss your legal issues with our professional staff in person. Alternatively, you may also send us an email setting out your legal issues.
We will keep you informed about the progress of your case by email, mail or fax, and the specific method of communication will be subject to your agreement.
As a Hong Kong law firm, our primary focus is on providing comprehensive legal services on Hong Kong laws. However, through our strong collaboration with overseas law firms, we also offer access to professional advice on matters related to jurisdictions outside Hong Kong.
